Circuit training is basically a method of workout that involves a number of exercises arranged in a proper sequence into one GIANT SET in a certain time frame, number of sets and reps to be performed.
You can design a circuit for TOTAL BODY , LOWER BODY, UPPER BODY or even for CARDIO, STRENGTH focused, COORDINATION focused and so on , entirely up to you.( JUST MAKE SURE ITS REALISTIC)

What are the benefits of circuit training? .
- time efficient ( safes time)
- targets more muscles
- fat burning!! Especially if you are plateau and looking for a major progression

Is it recommended for beginners?

If you ask me i would say , if programmed properly circuit can still be done in the beginning stage , but then makr sure you have covered your basics/form/ techniques.
